OUR HISTORY
The history of Colégio IMP began in the first half of 2003 when friends Sebastião Campos, Heverton Pereira, Moacir Júnior and Paulo Alexandre noticed the need for a pre-university exam in the south zone of the city of Lavras/MG. Considering that the city is home to a federal university, the project had as its initial goal the formation of a team specialized in solving federal university entrance exams, which would be a great differential.
In view of this, as the city already had other pre-university courses, professor Paulo Alexandre suggested a name that would cause “Impact” in the market. Then Professor Sebastião Teixeira Campos presented the name “Impacto Pré-Vestibular”, which had the approval of all those involved. That’s how, during the months of June and July 2003, the idealizing commission looked for a team in the southern city of Minas Gerais that would cause the “Impact” they wanted and that’s how it was done.
In the midst of planning, goals and dreams, the first enrollment took place on the first of July of the same year. The following month, August 4th, the first class was given, starting the 1st semester of Impacto Pré-Vestibular, at Rua Otacílio Negrão de Lima, 388, in Lavras/MG. But, in August of the following year, in 2004, due to the great demand of students, the project gained a new headquarters, being located at Rua Gustavo Pena, 57. The new installation allowed an infrastructure built especially to meet the needs of the entrance exam with large rooms, library, living area, reception and with the capacity to receive up to 350 students per shift.
MAIS DE
2008
As of 2008, the company is renamed Impacto Centro de Ensino, with the objective of becoming a reference center in education, authorized by the Board of Trade to work in the areas of Elementary, Middle and Higher Education (Graduate and Post-Graduate) .
2009 - High School
The year 2009 was marked by the beginning of the process to regularize the institution with the Regional Superintendence of Education of Campo Belo and in 2010 regular activities of High School began at this Institution.
In the last 10 years, several sectors have undergone changes and what began as a dream of preparing professionals for their careers, became the project of a journey towards the formation of human beings.
2018
From this, in 2018 the Elementary School Final Years was implemented. And, later, in 2019, the so-called Impacto Centro de Ensino started the branding work, adapting its brand and name to the new moment it was experiencing. Thus, COLÉGIO IMP was born, even more modern and linked to a young and irreverent image, bringing to the name the affection and proximity that are outstanding characteristics of the company.
2020
In 2020, Elementary School activities will begin.
But the dream didn’t stop there! COLEGIO IMP continues to write its history, growing and surprising, maintaining its tradition of being a welcoming school, which recognizes differences and enhances the dreams and creativity of our students.
